I also like the utility of the design having a place to store the cards and pins to make it self contained and portable.

Thanks for the great Humidor you built and was given to me by Al Schuman. Being an amateur wood worker myself I appreciate the level of perfection in your work. I have been thinking about building high end Rocking Horses, Cradles and Cedar Chests. Have built several for family members and have been asked by many to do for others and I won’t due to time and costs. But I was shocked at the dollar offers that have come forward.

 My husband and I have played cribbage together for over twenty years and are always looking for new & unique boards. For years I had wanted to have a special cribbage board made for my husband, who is a US Navy SEAL. I had hoped to somehow incorporate the SEAL emblem into the board, but I was never able to  find the right person to make it. This past Christmas I stumbled upon your website,  found a nice brass medallion with a SEAL Team logo, and it suddenly all fell into place. I am stunned at the quality of the cribbage board you made for me. It was a pleasure customizing the board with you; it was quite evident that customer service is your foremost concern.From deciding on the wood used (Padauk and Sycamore), the fisherman inlay,  the wildlife coins inset into the base, and the inscription carved into the base I wondered if it would all come together . My concerns were unfounded and the end result exceeded my expectations.As you know this is to be a gift and it will be  - with the condition it is passed down to me  LOL.
